Yvonne Darlene "Teddy" Lothka Underlee, 90 of Dalhart, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2 o clock in the afternoon on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Central United Methodist Church with Pastor Joshua Stueve officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o clock in the evening on Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Yvonne was born on June 16, 1931 to Frank and Ida Lothka in Bagley, MN. On January 20, 1955 she went on a blind date; on April 10, 1955 she got engaged to Leslie C. Underlee and on June 16, 1955 she married him. She spent many happy years with the love of her life, Leslie C. Underlee. They moved to Dalhart from Minnesota in 1981. Yvonne was an amazing seamstress and would sew her daughters dresses. She also helped on the farm however she could. Whether that meant keeping the books or driving a combine. Yvonne was also Woman if the Year in 1985 of the Rehm E.H. Club. She was also a Godly woman and a student of the bible. Yvonne would pray with you anywhere she saw you. Her and Leslie volunteered for the local prison ministry for 21 years. She truly adored her Sunday School Class. Yvonne was one that never complained and was the perfect wife and mother. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter; Michele Underlee; three brothers and four sisters. Yvonne is survived by her husband: Leslie C. Underlee and numerous nieces and nephews.
