Yvonne Bowen, 73, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017 in Dalhart, TX Memorial Services were at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Hartley Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Tubbs officiating. Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home. Yvonne Kaltz was born June 2, 1943 in Detroit, MI, she was raised in the Detroit area and graduated from Roseville High School in 1961. Yvonne married Paul Bowen on June 27, 1963 in Mt. Clemens, MI. They moved to Texas in the summer of 1977. Yvonne enjoyed bowling, reading, knitting, crocheting, and river boat gambling. Her love for life, family and friends was always evident in her smile. Survivors include her husband Paul of Hartley, TX 3 sons: Russell Bowen and his wife Paula of Dalhart, TX, Andrew Bowen and his wife Sherri of Perryton, TX, and Jeffrey Bowen of Dumas, TX. A daughter- Jennifer and her husband Tim Peace of Amarillo, TX. As well as a sister Pattie and her husband Raymond Bowen of White Bluff, Tennessee. 9 grandchildren including Phillip Tello and wife Marina, Ashley Bowen, Zachary Bowen, Justin Bowen, Stephen Bowen, Izach Bowen, Blane Patterson, Daniel Paterson and Kirsten Andrews and 7 great-grandchildren.
