He attended schools in St. Louis and later married Mildred Finney on August 6, 1947. William taught school in Kansas and Missouri and later sold medical supplies, school books and musical instruments. He enjoyed music, playing the piano and working in his yard with plants. William loved going to the beach and the mountains with his family. He had a sense of humor and loved a good joke William loved to talk to people and he never met a stranger.Survivors include his sons- David Schulte of Dalhart, TX, Steve Schulte of Port Orange, FL, Michael Schulte, Of Portland, OR, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren Preceded in death by his parents, wife and step-granddaughter, Stephanie Grey.
