William Eugene Bud Lee, 79, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, in Amarillo, Texas. Graveside Services were held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 23, 2010 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Meno, OK.Bud was born in Ringwood, Oklahoma on November 8, 1930 to William Henry Bill Lee and Ethel (Corby) Lee.A Navy veteran, Bud served from 1951 1959 and was stationed at Lakehurst, NJ. He served four years as a radio operator aboard the aircraft carrier USS Randolph and the USS Bennington.Bud and his father, Bill, were carpenters in Ringwood and the surrounding area for many years. In 2000 he moved to Dalhart to be closer to his family.He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ella Unruh of Dalhart, Texas and Betty Harmon of Wichita, Kansas.
