William (Bill) Mitchell Bell, 71, died Sunday, December 18, 2005 in Dalhart. The family held a private memorial service. Bill was born July 5th, 1934 in Clarendon, TX to Charlie & Flora Belle Bell. He married JoAnn McEvers in 1951.Bill lived on the Perkins & Prothro Ranch near Kerrick, TX for 50 years, managing the ranch for 30 of those years. After retiring in 1996, they moved to their home at Lake Meredith where Bill enjoyed fishing. He served many years as director & president of the Lake Meredith Habor Owners Association. Because of failing health, he and his wife moved to Dalhart in 2002. Survivors include his wife, four children, Beaver & Dee Dee Bell, Dalhart, Vickie & Steve Raney, Dalhart, Jack & Conda Bell, New Beginnings, Mitch Bell, LIT Ranch. The 13 grandchildren are Chris & Hope Bell, Tanner Bell & Chiz Bell, Shawna & Wesley Bucher, Robynne & Blake Anderson, Jami & Kurt Pafford, Julie & Chad Bulls, Sam Bell, all of Dalhart; Amy & Joel Maxwell of Springfield, MO; Josh & Crystal Raney of Idalou, TX; Dusty Bell of Canyon; Jade Bell & Monty Bell of LIT Ranch.
