William Edgar (Bill) Ballew (1932-2018) On Saturday December 1, 2018 loving husband to Jackie Ballew and father to Russell and Lynn Ballew passed away at the age of 86. Born to Ed and Rosie Ballew on January 29, 1932 in a house east of Texline. Bill farmed and ranched most of his life. He married Jackie McBride May 25, 1947 and together they raised 2 sons Russell and Lynn Ballew. Bill loved his family dearly and passed peacefully with his loved ones around him. Bill was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ed and Rosie Ballew, brother Johnny, sister, Louise, grandson, Adam, and great-grandson, Lane. He is survived by his wife, Jackie, son, Russell Ballew and wife Lorene, son Lynn Ballew and wife Rose, brother, James and wife Marilyn, grandchildren, Billy, Bobby, David, Donnie, Tara, and Lorie, great-grandchildren, Bj, Stasha, Dalton, Jonathan, Tiffany, Swayde, Tori, Veronica, Bryan, Kelsie, Saharra, Kayden, Madilyn, Sophia, Maricio, Alexander, and Trinity, and great-great-grandchildren McKenzie and Jackson. His services were held on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at 1:30pm. They will be held at Dalhart Seventh Day Adventist Church, #2 Pheasant Run. Burial was at Texline Cemetery. Pall Bearers were Bj, Dalton, Swayde, Bryan, and Jonathan Ballew, and Chance Helms. Honorary Pall Bearers are Billy, Bobby, David, and Donnie Ballew.
