Willa Mae Sanborn, 83 of Dalhart, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 1:00PM, Friday, February 18, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Barry Walker, First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Willa Mae was born on June 12, 1938 in Tahlequah, OK to Leroy Oral and Matha Mildred Sanborn. She graduated from Dalhart High School in 1956. Willa Mae was quite a basketball player and an avid reader and poetry writer. She loved to watch old movies and work crossword puzzles. She is preceded in death by her parents: Leroy and Matha Sanborn; and one brother: Charles Edward Sanborn. Willa Mae is survived by one brother: C.L.
