Warren Robert "Sam" Hilts, 75 of Dalhart, passed away on July 17, 2023. No services will be held at this time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Warren Robert Hilts "Sam" was born to Robert and Holly Hilts on July 9, 1948 in Oneida, New York. Sam was raised in New York on Dairy farms and married LoDema Ray on March 1, 1986. They had 3 kids and moved to Texline, Texas in 1994. Sam worked for H&H farm 1998 until he became disabled. Preceded in death is Sam's grandparents, parents, nephew: Scott, and grandson: Caleb. Sam is survived by his wife: LoDema Hilts, son: James Hilts and wife Lorene, grandchildren: Dakota, Dezera, Josh, Chevi, and Cheyenne Hilts, daughters: Brenda Hilts and Holly Adams, brothers: Wayne and wife Kelly, and Doug and wife Barbara and nieces and nephews.
