Wanda Matthews, 86 of Dalhart, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. A Graveside Service was scheduled for 10 o clock in the morning on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Wanda was born on November 21, 1934, to Clyde and Katie Tice in Dalhart, TX. Wanda was a homemaker who loved her family and cherished spending time with them. She married the love of her life, Donald E. Matthews, on August 30, 1953, and they spent over 67 happy years together. She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers. Wanda is survived by her husband: Don of the home; children: Marquita Ann Lark of Orlando, FL, Tracy Lee Matthews and wife Debbie of Atkins, TX, and Sandra Dee Cleavinger and husband Rick of Turpin, OK; one sister: Kathyran Bottom of Rayden, OK; and grandchildren: Cauella Kane, Tyler Wayen Matthews, and Dustin Cleavinger; and one great grandchild: Zander Kane.
