Walter Gresham Brown, 88, died on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in Amarillo, Texas. Graveside services were held at 9:00 AM (MST) on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM with full military honors. ~ Arrangements provided by Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas. Walter Gresham Brown was born on July 29, 1929 in Roswell, NM to Wesley G. & Iva F. (Coleman) Brown. He served in the US Army from 1951 to 1953 and later worked as a Mechanic. Gresham is survived by his 2 sons- Wesley Brown & wife, Nancy of Dalhart and Jimmy Brown of Dallas, Texas as well as 6 grandchildren- Michael, Kevin, Payton, John, Clarence & Bo. Gresham is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Linda Nelson and his grandson, Christopher Nelson.
