Vaudene Giles, 95, formerly of Dalhart, Texas, passed peacefully with her family by her side on Jan 6th, 2020, at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was born on June 28, 1924, in Anson, Texas to her parents Rance & Isabell Moore. On January the 2nd, 1944, she married W.J. "Bud" Giles in Anson, Texas. They were married for 52 years. Vaudene graduated Anson High School and attended Business School in Abilene, Texas. She was employed for several years by Anson General Hospital. She enjoyed bowling, Bridge and was an avid golfer. She was active in Sorority and loved playing games with her children and grandchildren. Vaudene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a daughter, Jan Hargrove, 8 siblings, numerous nieces and nephews and a dear friend of 11 years, J. Eddie Jones. Survivors include two daughters, Eva Tangeman (Fred Galati) of Punta Gorda, Florida, Debbie McEvers (Jim McEvers) of Amarillo Texas, Son-in-Law, Randy Hargrove or Logan, New Mexico, 7 grandchildren, and 15 1/2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services were held Tuesday, January 14th, at 2pm, at the First Baptist Church in Dalhart, Texas. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to: Tidewell Hospice, 3550 S.
