Vanilla Moriah (Nettles) Graham, 101, passed on to Glory Monday, December 2, 2019. Services were held Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Dalhart, Texas with Rev. Curtis Green officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas. Vanilla was born on August 6, 1918 in Sunflower, Mississippi to Lou Ata (Batter) and Warren Nettles. Vanilla sought after Christ early on in her life. She married Jimmie Graham on October 25, 1964 in Hereford, Texas. Vanilla was a dedicated, long time member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Vanilla is survived by her husband, Jimmie Graham, her children, Addie Gaines of Adrian, Michigan and Herman Gaines and wife Rose of Dalhart, Texas. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Vanilla is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Lou Ata Nettles, sixteen siblings, one granddaughter, Betty Yvette Tindall, daughter in law, Virginia Gaines and many nieces and nephews.
