Graveside Services were held on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 10:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas. The Officiants were; Prayer Vigil- Deacon Ron Hein, St., Anthonys Catholic Church, Graveside- Father Ron Mathews, Chaplain Disciples of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Prayer Town, TX Antonio Tomas Gallegos was born March 9, 1939 in Roy New Mexico to Jose and Eufelia (Rivera) Gallegos., Tony moved with his family to Dalhart when he was ten years old, and attended Dalhart schools. He worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad for many years and retired in 1992. Tony was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church, and the Crucillo movement. Tony loved being with his family.survivors include his wife: Stella Gallegos of Dalhart, TX, Daughters: Diane and husband Angelo Montoya , Tina and husband Jake Bundy, and Connie and husband David McCollum all of Dalhart, TX, Brothers: Adam Gallegos, Channing, TX, Leroy Gallegos, Walsenburg, CO, Sisters: Rosalie Armijo, Beatrice McNabb, Pueblo, CO, Ruth Padilla, Guymon, OK, Mary Helen Rubio, Dalhart, TX, Grandchildren: Jeff and Jeremy Montoya, Jennifer & Matthew Bundy, Kordell & Korbin McCollum all of Dalhart, TX, numerous nieces and nephews and several god children including Riley Calhoun Brinker who spent a lot of time at Tonys house learning about the Church and life.
