Timothy "Baby" Proffitt, 62, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 in Amarillo, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas. The family will meet at the Ten in Texas Restaurant following service if friends and family would like to stop by for a visit. Timothy Allan "Baby" Proffitt was born on Tuesday, April 22, 1958 in Dalhart, Texas to Cora "Pat" (Allison) and Dumont Proffitt. Baby married Keile(Robinson) in Hereford, Texas on December 5th, 1981 and they soon added three Proffitt boys to their family. He retired from West Texas Gas, he was also a long time member of the Lakeview Methodist Church and enjoyed helping with the rescue mission. Baby enjoyed the simple things in life. He especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, a cold drink, and a good drive down a country road. Baby is survived by his wife, Keile Proffitt of the home, his sons; Wade Proffitt of Dalhart, TX, Jarrett Proffitt and wife Shyla of Canadian, TX, Chad Proffitt and wife Sara of Springer, NM, his grandchildren; Kade, Kason, Benny, Rankin, Tayla, Charly Proffitt and Cutter Kennedy, his brother, Kirk Proffitt and wife Lisa of Dumas, TX, his sister-in-law Mary Pat of Amarillo, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dumont and Pat Proffitt and his brothers, Monty and Barry Lee Proffitt.
