Terry Blades, 62, died Friday, September 10, 2010 in Dalhart, TexasFuneral Services were held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.Officiating was Rusty Hancock, Pastor, Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas. Terry Kevin Blades was born March 7, 1948 in Dalhart, Texas to Ray and Lenore (Hathaway) Blades. Terry grew up in Dalhart and worked in all aspects of the feedlot industry. He married Patsy Newton in 1969 and they had four children together. On September 16, 1990 he married Betty S. Maltbie and they had 1 child together. Terry enjoyed spending time with family, camping and watching the birds and the squirrels. He is survived by his wife Betty Blades of Dalhart, TX - Sons: Ray Blades and his wife Mindy of Canon City, CO, Jay Blades and his wife Trina of Dalhart, TX and Shane Blades of Dalhart, TX. Daughter: Jolanda and her husband Ronnie Henley of Ola, AR. - Sisters: Barbara Thompson of Kirbyville, TX, Raydene and her husband James Rhodes of Bushland, TX and Sandy and her husband Rod Rodriguez of Phoenix, AZ and a brother Leon Blades and his wife Coleen of Crockett, TX and Seven Grandchildren: Samantha Blades, Jessica Blades, Tessa Helms, Jesse Helms, Jolee Henley, Jessica Henley, and Cameron Penny. He is preceded in death by his Parents, a son Nathan Blades and a stepson Kerry Maltbie
