Sussana (Susan) Guadalupe Romero, 71, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. Rosary will be held at 9:45 a.m. Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Dalhart, Texas with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Susan was born to Odelia Galan and Cornelio Arguello in Roy, NM on Sunday, May 29, 1949. Susan married Tony Romero, December 28, 1964. They moved to Guymon in February of 1970, there they raised their four children, Anthony, Deana, Mike and Leslie. They were married for 55 years. Whey they first moved to Guymon Susan worked at the Dunaway Manor, she later worked at Adams Hardfacing for 20 years and then worked for 15 years at Hitch 1 until her retirement in 2004. Susan loved sewing and making blankets for her family. She was always busy working on her home improvements. She loved to give whether it was giving her time helping people whatever their needs, haircuts, clothes or items they may have needed, she would find it and give it to them. She loved to make people happy or smile. She was a real jokester. Susan is survived by her husband, Antonio Romero, her children: Son, Anthony Romero and his children, Marcus Romero and Monica Ford, daughter, Deana Andr and husband Mike and their two daughters, Jordan and Mica Andr, son, Mike Romero and his sons, Garrett Franklin and Nicholas Romero, daughter, Leslie Gooding and husband Todd and their children: Patience Epperley, Ta, Zane, Mason and Tori Gooding and adopted daughter, Yadira Ortiz and husband Robert and their sons: Damian, Andy and Dominic Ortiz, 10 great grandchildren, 5 sisters: Francis Madrid and husband Robert, Geraldine Baca, Margie Richmond, Meeky Garcia and husband David and Martha Johnson and husband Craig, one brother, Louie Sandoval and wife Linda. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Odelia Galan and Cornelio Arguello, and two brothers: Eloy and Art Arguello.
