Sue Ann Singleton, 66, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at Central United Methodist Church in Dalhart, Texas. Burial and graveside service followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home. Services were officiated by Josh Stueve of Central United Methodist Church of Dalhart, Texas. Sue was born May 13, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas to Sam and Babe Singleton. She grew up in Dalhart and graduated from Dalhart High School in May of 1971. Sue moved to Boise City, Oklahoma in 1971 where she had her children, Boots, Stephanie and Casey before moving on to Alaska in 1990, where she met her long-time partner Joe Martin. In 1998 Sue moved home to Dalhart to help her brother Sam care for their parents. In 2018 she opened The Green Thumb nursery so she could share her love of plants and flowers with her community. Sue Ann is survived by her children, Thaddeus "Boots" Adee of Alaska, Stephanie McEwen of Alaska and Lucchese "Casey" Adee and wife Julie of Dalhart, Texas, her five grandchildren; Derek McEwen, Jasmine Talbot, Katelynn McEwen, Regan Adee and Benjamin Gonzalez, Jr., one great grandchild, Stevie McEwen, one brother, Sam Singleton, Jr. and her long-time partner Joe Martin. Sue Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Artis "Babe" and Sam Singleton and sister Linda Kaye Marsh.
