Stephanie McDonald, 80 of Dalhart, passed away on October 25, 2022. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10:00am on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Liberty Baptist Church with Dennis Guffey Sr. officiating and assisted by Pastor Mark Looney, Heritage Baptist Church of Stratford. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Stephanie was born in Milford, Utah to William and Auleen Dumas on May 5, 1942. She went to school in Murray, Utah. She married Thomas McDonald on March 26, 1960, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked as a Chef most of her life and owned her own restaurant for 6 years. Stephanie is preceded in death by her parents, William & Auleen Dumas, sister Beverly Bozarth and sister Marjorie Tripp. Stephanie is survived by her husband, Thomas McDonald, 4 children, daughter Maureen Guffey & husband Bud, daughter Janice Beals, son Patrick McDonald & daughter Heidi Guffey & husband Dennis, brother David Dumas & wife Shari, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren & 3 great, great grandchildren. Memorials may be given to the missions department at Heritage Bible Baptist Church.
