Stella R. McGaugh, 92, died on Wednesday, February 06, 2008 in Amarillo,, TXGraveside Services were held at 10:30 am Friday, February 8, 2008 at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Dalhart, TX.Officiating was Bob McAlister, Sr. Adult Pastor, First Baptist Church of Dalhart, TX.Stella Roberta Taylor was born April 7, 1915 in Custer County, OK to Eddie and Leona (Goin) Taylor. She was raised in Sayre and graduated from High School there before gong to Nursing School in Elk City, OK. Stella married E.L. McGaugh on April 17, 1939. They moved to Dalhart in 1946. She was a nurse in Dalhart until she moved to Sunray in 1992 to be closer to family. Stella was a member of the First Baptist Church and loved baking and relaxing.Survivors include her son - Dick and his wife Ernestene McGaugh of Sunray, TX Daughter - Judy and her husband Dennis Fairbairn of Shallowater, TX - Grandchildren: Annette and her husband John Rollins of Sunray, TX Shane and his wife Kerrie McGaugh of Sunray, TX Douglas and his wife Joanna McGaugh of Dalhart, TX - Sandra and her husband Tim Noack of Flower Mound, TX Jennifer and Jessica Fairbairn of Shallowater, TX and Christopher Fairbairn of Shallowater, TX - 11 great grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren - Stella is preceded in death by her husband E.L. McGaugh, a son Glenn and a grandson John Glenn 2 brothers and 1 sister
