Stazie Rosier, 93, died on Friday, April 27, 2007, in Dalhart, TX. Prayer Vigil was held on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 6:00 pm in St. Anthonys Catholic Church. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, April 30, 2007 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Dalhart, TX. Burial followed in memorial park cemetery, under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TX. Officiating: Father Scott Raef, Pastor St. Anthonys Catholic Church Dalhart, TX She is survived by her Daughter: Vivian & husband Joe Culbertson, Jr. of Rosebud, NM. 2 Granddaughters: Amanda Eggart and her husband Gary of Estancia, NM & Laura Smith and her husband Josh of Rosebud, NM 4 Great Grandchildren Andrew Joseph Eggart, Nathan Lee Eggart, Case Benjamin Smith and Annie Marie Smith. 1 sister - Mary Vicenik Balke of Baytown, TX and numerous close family members. Preceded in death by her husband Ray (2003), her parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters Anastazie Vicenik was born May 17, 1913 in Sealy, Texas to Frank and Frances (Sefeik) Vicenik. Stazie attend school in a one room school house at Cannon Hill in Austin County, TX. She married Ray Samuel Rosier May 23, 1942 in Galveston, Texas. They moved to Bryan, Texas in 1946. Stazie retired as Manager of the Travis Elementary School Cafeteria in 1982. Ray & Stazie moved to Dalhart in 1982. A devout member of the Roman Catholic Church she enjoyed baking and family. Stazie was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary.
