Sonya Lou Stevenson, 63, died on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Amarillo, Texas.Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 2, 2013 At Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiating will be Kurtis Abla, Minister of youth at First Baptist Church in Dalhart, TX.Sonya Lou Stevenson was born February 3, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas to Neal G. and Lois B. Peters. She was a sister to three brothers, Robert, William and John Peters. Sonya Married David E. Stevenson on June 18th, 1989. Sonya loved to go camping, and working in her garden. She also loved going on the truck with her husband. Sonya is survived by her husband David E. Stevenson of Dalhart TX, son David Allen Stevenson of Seminole, TX. Daughter Teresa Wilkerson of Seminole, TX. Brothers- William Peters of Amarillo, TX; and John Peters of Mesquite, TX. And a granddaughter Brittany Rose Stevenson. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Sonya was preceded by her parents Neal and Lois Peters, Brother Robert Peters and a grandson Steven Watson.
