Shirley Ann Ogle, 76, died Thursday, December 31, 2009 in Dalhart, Texas.Services were held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the First Baptist Church. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiants were Rodney Weatherly, Pastor, Bob McAlister, Pastor to Senior Adults - First Baptist Church and Dennis Shugart. Shirley Ann Wilcoxson was born February 16, 1933 in Dalhart, TX to William Bill and Geneva Gene (Corbin) Wilcoxson. Raised in Dalhart, Shirley graduated from Dalhart High School in 1951. On June 10, 1951 she married Gene D. Ogle here in Dalhart. After 25 years of banking Shirley retired in 1998. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the Choir. Shirley was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Magna Carta Dames. She loved yard work, painting, collecting antiques, and spending time with family She is preceded in death by her father Bill Wilcoxson. Survivors include her husband Gene Ogle of Dalhart, TX, her mother Geneva Gene Moore of Dalhart, TX, a daughter Carol Ann Brubaker and her husband James of Round Rock, TX, a sister Jeri Selby and her husband Garry of Longmont, CO, a granddaughter Tiffany Brubaker of Round Rock, TX, numerous nieces and nephews.The Ogle family extends their deepest gratitude to Coon Memorial Home Health & Hospice and Baptist St. Anthonys Hospital for their wonderful care.
