Graveside services were held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 04, 2017 at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiating was by Monsignor Michael Colwell, pastor at St. Anthony of Padua. Arrangements provided by Horizon Funeral Home. Sheryl Lynn Fulfer, age 66, of Jal, NM, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Odessa, TX. She was born July 26, 1950 in Dalhart,TX to Lee and J. Ruth (Jenkins) Bohrer. Sheryl married Perry Fulfer in Dumas, TX on December 16, 1999 and they celebrated 17 years together.Sheryl was a loving mother and grandmother. She adored being around her grandkids and was affectionately called "Granny" and "Grammy" by them. Sheryl was full of life and had a great spirit of adventure. She loved camping, cooking and photography. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jal.She is survived by her husband: Perry Fulfer of Jal, NM; daughter: Michele Spielman and husband Gary of Dalhart, TX; two "bonus-sons" as she lovingly called them: Rowdy Fulfer and wife Bridgot of Jal, NM and Cory Fulfer and wife Wendy of Jal, NM; four brothers: Dennis Bohrer and wife Helen of Amarillo, TX, Jim Bohrer of Houston, TX, John Bohrer and wife Sherry and their son Britt of Amarillo, TX, and Richard Bohrer and wife Nancy of Clear Lake Shores, TX; seven grandchildren: Shelby, Luke, Cameron, Chelsea, KC, Kimberlee, and Kolby, as well as many special neices and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents: Lee and J.
