Sherry Tracy Ritter, 47, died Saturday, August 1, 2020 Family viewing will be Wednesday, August 5th at Horizon Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, TX with Rusty Hancock, Pastor Lincoln Street Baptist Church officiating, under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home. Sherry Tracy Ritter was born June 15, 1973 in Dalhart, TX to Anthony Ritter SR. and Beatrice (Gallegos) Ritter. Raised in Dalhart, she is a 1991 graduate of Dalhart High School, where she participated in Pep club and loved basketball. Sherrys life was filled with her love for her boys, supporting them in sports by attending every game she could, and providing for them in every way she could. She enjoyed listening to the rain, and 80s rock, like Bon Jovi and Warrant. Sherry would help anyone in need, she had a big heart and everyone who knew her loved her. Her sons and wiener dogs came first they were her world! She will be dearly missed by everyone. Sherry is survived by her sons Jacob Winkler of Dalhart, TX, and Damian Ritter of Dalhart, TX, Her Parents Beatrice Ritter and Anthony Ritter Sr. both of Dalhart, TX. Brothers: Tony Ritter Jr. and his wife Barbara of Dalhart, TX, Bobby Ritter and his wife Pasha of Dalhart, TX, Phillip Ritter and his wife Rosie of Dalhart, TX, Sisters: Sandra Kerr and her husband Jeremy of Dalhart, TX and Sheila Sprague and her husband Lloyd Sr. of Manter, KS as well as Uncles - David and wife Jill Martinez of Amarillo, TX Charles and wife Joyce Gallegos of Logan, NM and Frank Gallegos of KS. 12 nieces, 4 Nephews, many great nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by a sister Patsy Ritter, Nephew Dusty Ritter , Uncles Johnny and Steve Martinez, grandparents: Edward and Lilly Mae Gallegos, Edgar Ritter and Sally Martinez.
