Sheresa Evelyn Causey, 53, died on Monday, July 13, 2015.Services were held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Dalhart, TX with Bobby Medford, Pastor of the Hartley Fellowship church, officiating. Burial was in the Channing Cemetery, Channing, TX. Sheresa Evelyn Potter was born August 29, 1961 to Norman and Evelyn (Nappier) Potter. She graduated from Texline High School in 1980. Sheresa raised her daughters in Dalhart and had worked for XIT Concrete and Johnson Welding. She married Cody Causey in Dumas, TX on January 31, 1999. A loving and caring Christian she attended Peoples Church and Hartley Christian Fellowship. Sheresa loved animals, gardening, working in her yard, being with family and grandchildren. Her laugh and keen sense of humor will forever be remembered as The Sheresa Trademark! Survivors include her husband: Cody Causey of Channing, TX; mother, Evelyn Potter of Channing, TX; two daughters, Janna Like of Channing, TX, Vanessa and her husband, Loncey Hauser of Hartley, TX; granddaughters, Lexi Hauser, Gracie Hauser, and McKinzey Causey; and grandson, Ezekiel Gonzales.
