Sheila Pearce, age 63 died Sunday, August 7, 2005 in Dalhart, TXGraveside Services were at 4:00 pm Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TexasOfficiating was Dr. Stanley I. Adleman, President of the Temple BNai-Israel in Amarillo, Texas.Sheila Mae Pearce was born July 20, 1942 in Decatur, Illinois to Maurice and Alice (Cohen) Brown. She graduated from Decatur High School in 1960 and attended one year of college at the University of Illinois in Champaign Illinois. After the passing of her father, she moved with her mother to Hallandale Florida. She and Floyd Wayne Pearce were married in October of 1973 and lived in Florida until 1978 when they moved to Oklahoma, and then to Dalhart, TX. They lived in Dalhart until the death of her husband, at which time she moved to Amarillo, TX. Sheila returned to Dalhart in January of 2005. Sheila was a member of the Temple B Nai Israel in Amarillo, TX. She loved being a homemaker, enjoyed crocheting, and loved trying to help people any way she could.She is Survivored by a Son: Adam Shepherd and his wife Susan of Fairfax, VA Daughter: Michelle Pearce of Borger, TX Sister: Nanci Haber of Indiana Grandchildren: (5) Allyson Nieto, Alexis Pearce, Ashley & Ryan Pearce, & Katie ShepherdPreceded by: her parents, a son Kristopher Pearce in 1999, and her husband Wayne Pearce in 2003
