Shala Dawn Richardson, 18, died Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Castro county, TX. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Peoples Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery - Arrangements provided by Horizon Funeral Home. Shala Dawn "BBJ" Richardson was born in Plainview, TX on October 25, 1999 to Greg and Yvette Richardson. Growing up, Shala enjoyed helping her daddy in his shop, riding with him in his service truck, and spending time with her Nanny and Glen Glen at the flower shop. In 2011 she and her family relocated to the Dalhart area, where she would blossom through her teen years and become and independent, confident young lady. Shala had a true travelers spirit; home was wherever she happened to be "in the moment". Her laugh was contagious, her smile could light up any room. Shala never knew a stranger and loved with her whole heart. Shala is survived by her parents Greg and Yvette Richardson of Hartley, TX.
