Her family moved to Dalhart when she was 12 yrs. old. She attended schools in Dalhart. Ruth met and married her life partner, Howard E. Roach from Hartley, TX. They married June 2, 1946 in Clayton. Ruth was an active member of the Lincoln Street Baptist Church; she enjoyed reading, cooking and most of all - her grand and great grand, children. She is survived by three daughters Nancy and her husband Butch Beckstrom of Dalhart, TX Lola and her husband Boyd Barrow of Dalhart, TX and Patti Gael Roach of Rockwell, TX 4 sons- Monty Roach and his wife Debbie of Albuquerque, NM, Ronny Roach and his wife Jackie of Cummings, GA, Danny Roach and his wife Dawna of Hereford, TX, and Joe Don Roach of St. Petersburg, FL 36 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard, 1 sister and 1 brother.Memorials to Lincoln Street Baptist Church - Childrens Free Lunch Program -
