Russell Eugene Caughron, 63, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Dalhart, TexasGraveside services were held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2015 in Memorial Park Cemetery - Dalhart, with arrangements under the care of Horizon Funeral Home.Officiating was Rusty Hancock, Pastor Lincoln Street Baptist Church, of Dalhart.Russell Eugene Caughron was born January 31, 1951 in Dalhart, TX to Russell Hayden Caughron and Mildred Dora (Stites) Caughron. He grew up in Dalhart and was a Corrections officer for TDCJ.He is survived by Sons: Shawn and his wife Lori and their son Camden, Kelly and his wife Ginny and their children Brock, Jessica, and Sarah. As well as his other children Chris, Wesley, Presley and Mellissa. His sisters Hazel Walker, Glenda and husband David Frazier, Christi Caughron, Diane and husband George Gillespie, Dora and her husband Dale Parker and Lavetta and husband Richard Trujillo and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, a son Jeff and a brother in law Robert Walker.
