Raul "Rudy" Ramirez, 59, of Dalhart, Texas passed away in Amarillo, Texas, Thursday, February 13, 2020. He was born January 27, 1961 to Rosalio "Charlie" Ramirez and Carmen Diaz Ramirez in Friona, Texas. Rudy grew up in Bovina, Texas from birth until March of 1968 when the family moved to Stratford, Texas where he attended elementary for 2 years. Rudy then moved to Dalhart, Texas in 1970 and graduated from Dalhart High School in 1979. After graduating he moved to Odessa, Texas to work in the oil field for 4 years and then moved back to Dalhart for a few months before moving to Amarillo to work for Swift for 3 years. Rudy then made his way back home to Dalhart to start a family. Rudy was a jack of all trades and has worked all sorts of jobs and has touched the lives of many people. He worked construction as well as helped his dad with the family business, Ramirez Auto Repair. Rudy loved spending time with his 3 children ( Rion Raul Ramirez, Risa Rain Ramirez and Rudy Raez Ramirez and his 6 grandchildren (Addison and Aubree Ramirez, Kaidyn and Kezzley Ramirez and Brooklyn and Remy Bolton). Rudy enjoyed golfing with his brothers, family cookouts and jamming out to his favorite rock songs which he would sing at the top of his lungs. He will truly be missed. Rudy is survived by his children; Rion Ramirez, Risa Ramirez and Raez Ramirez all of Dalhart, Texas, his six grandchildren; Addison, Aubree, Kaidyn, Kezzley, Brooklyn and Remy, his parents, Rosalio and Carmen (Diaz) Ramirez of Dalhart, Texas, his siblings; Yolanda Ramirez, Diane and Gerret Bruins, Pete Ramirez and Gilbert and Delia Ramirez all of Dalhart, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
