Rodolfo "Rudy" Garcia went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2023, passing peacefully at the age of 60 in Dalhart, Texas. Born on February 3, 1963, in Hereford, Texas, to parents Herman and Naomi Garcia, Rudy lived a life marked by hard work, and love for his family and friends.

Rudy spent many years applying his skills and dedication in the construction industry, where he was well-respected and admired by his colleagues. Beyond his professional life, Rudy had a passion for fishing and was known to spend countless happy hours at the water's edge, feeling most at peace with a fishing line in hand.

The strength of Rudy's family and friendships defined his character, and he found immeasurable joy spending time with loved ones. Rudy was a beloved partner to Ninfa Acosta, a father to his sons Rodolfo Mares and Frankie Garcia, and daughters Crystal Garcia, April Avelar, and Sandy Frosch. His memory will be cherished by his numerous grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his father, Herman Garcia, his mother-in-law, Lucy R. Sosa, and his daughter-in-law, Michaela Conzett. Surviving him are his mother Naomi Garcia and brothers Benny Garcia and Adam Garcia, whose memories of Rudy are all punctuated by his infectious laughter and genuine, unending kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, the 28th of October, at 1 PM at The Church of the Nazarene, 1102 Keeler Ave, Dalhart, Texas 79022, with Pastor Rick officiating.
