Roy John Hoeffliger, 94, died Saturday, September 03, 2005 in Dalhart, TXGraveside Services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2005 at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Dalhart, TX, under the direction of Horizon Funeral HomeOfficiating was John Hunter, Pastor Peoples Church, Dalhart, TexasRoy John Hoeffliger was born September 29, 1910 in Lipscomb, Texas to John and Nellie (Van Oss) Hoeffliger. On September 30, 1950 he married Violet Von Olveg in Clayton, NM. Roy was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII and worked for Dalhart Consumers for many years. He had a great love for the Dalhart Athletes.
