Roy Charles Brown, age 67, died Monday, April 25, 2016 in Dalhart, TX.A funeral service was held at the Dalhart Church of Christ on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:00 am, burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery. Horizon Funeral Home Roy was born in Amarillo, Texas on August 24, 1948 to Kenneth Gorham & Lois Maxine (Williamson) Brown. He graduated from Dalhart High School in 1966 and attended Texas Tech and Abilene Christian College where he received his Bachelors Degree. Roy married Deborah Sue Hulin on July 18, 1974 in Dalhart, Texas. He was in the National Guard and a farmer in the Panhandle area. He was a devoted husband & father who loved spending time with his friends & family. Roy is survived by his wife, Deborah of Hartley, 10 children - daughter Jennifer Brown, son Jason Brown, daughter Jerilyn Bittner, son Justin Brown, son Jonathan Brown, daughter Jaklyn Demots, son Jarod Brown, daughter Jaida Brown, son Jordan Brown, and daughter Jorja Brown. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren, 3 sisters - Carolyn Dye, Virginia Bradbury, Shirley Downey and 3 brothers - Wayne Brown, Pat Brown and Mike Brown.
