Roy Bogue, 71, died on Monday, November 12, 2007 in Amarillo, Texas Services were held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Peoples Church. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TX. Survivors include his wife: Ann Bogue of Dalhart, TX, Mother: Anna Wallin of Pampa, TX, Daughters: Beth Bogue Perkins of Amarillo, TX, and Leigh Smith of Fritch, TX, Son: Buddy Bogue of Amarillo, TX, Sisters: Carolyn Hood, Kingsland, TX, Norma Joyce and Husband Lee Reusser of Enid, OK, Nine Grandchildren and Eight great-grandchildrenRoy Lee Bogue was born on May 18, 1936 In Pampa, Texas to Eugene and Anna Belle Allam Bogue. He attended Pampa schools and graduated there. After graduation Roy attended the Police Academy in Amarillo. Roy and wife Ann moved to Dalhart in 1969 for Roy to work for the Dalhart Police Department. He was employed there until 1980. Roy began working for Mission Auto and worked there for 26 years. He looked forward to retirement to play with his dogs and work in his workshop. Roy loved to help out at the LaRita Theater and appeared in the different plays they performed for the public. Roy was a member of Peoples Church.
