Roxie Jeanette Hughes, 37, of Dalhart, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on July 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Roxie will lie in state on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dalhart Funeral Home.
Roxie's life will be celebrated in private by her family and close friends.

Roxie was born on November 10, 1988 in Sweetwater, TX to Ruben and Elena Underwood. She graduated from Sweetwater High School and a few years later met Tommy and they began their lives together.
Roxie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, friend & Lolli to her grandbabies. She was passionate about her family and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her granddaughter due in November. She enjoyed shopping, attending sporting events for her children and anything else that involved her husband or kids. Roxie will be remembered for her one-of-a-kind personality and for her dedication & love to those she truly cared for.
Roxie is survived by her husband of almost 14 years, Tommy; daughters: Kylee Marquez (Israel) of Friona, TX, Lindzy Hughes of Odessa, TX, Rhylie Phillips of Dalhart, TX, Alyssa Hughes of Lubbock, TX, & Lilly Hughes and sons: Ethan and Zaydan Hughes all of Dalhart, TX. Grandchildren: Micah, Olivia & Simon Marquez and Raylee Encinias. Parents: Ruben & Elena of Sweetwater, TX; brothers: Ruben Underwood (Sylvia), George Underwood (Francis) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by aunts, uncles, maternal and paternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity or organization of your choice, if desired.
Roxie’s memory will live on through her children and loved ones. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
