Rose L. Michalski, 70, died Monday, March 3, 2014 near Texline, TX Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Lincoln Street Baptist Church with Rusty Hancock, Pastor, officiating. Rose Lewis was born April 4, 1943 to James and Janie (Green) Lewis in Vivian, LA. Rose was raised in Vivian and graduated from North Caddo High School in 1960. Rose moved to Dalhart in the early seventies and in 1977 started working at Coon Memorial Hospital and Home. Rose will be remembered by all the families she touched as a caregiver extraordinaire! Survivors include her husband Bernard Michalski, a daughter: Charlene Parker of Dalhart, TX, a brother- Jewel Lewis of Texarkana, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
