Rogelio Flores, 77, of Dalhart, Texas passed away November 21, 2020 at 4 pm. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at home with his family around him. Rosary will be held at 9:45 a.m. and Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic church with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas. He was born in Valle de Saragosa, Mexico on April 28, 1943. He was the son of Maria Gonzalez and Rogelio Flores. Rogelio started working at a very young age. He was a cowboy, a farm laborer and then worked on irrigation systems. He took great pride in his work and his family. He was an avid fisherman for his whole life and a good one! He loved sharing his love of fishing with his family but especially his grandkids and great grandson Blandon. He was a big man with an equally big heart. He is known for his sense of humor and generosity. He lived simply but with great integrity. He is survived by his wife, Francisca Flores and his three childrenThelma Pyle, Alma Lopez, and Rogelio Flores III. He is also survived by grandchildren Aaron Flores, Michael Lopez, Ashley Lopez and Sebastian Flores and great grandson, Blandon Flores.
