Robert Lee Wheeler, 26, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in Dalhart, Texas.Funeral Service were held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God in Dalhart, Texas. Burial did follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas. Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home. Roberto Lee Wheeler, was born on October 17, 1989 in Dumas, Texas to Frank A. Wheeler and Ernestina Armijo. Robert was a graduate of Dalhart High School. Robert was a very kind and loving young man. His pride and joy was his nieces and nephews. Roberts smile would light up a room, he loved being silly and making people laugh. He loved being with family just hanging out watching movies, playing basketball, fishing, hunting, kayaking, welding, listening to music, classic cars, dirt bikes and going fast! Survivors include his father, Frank A. Wheeler of Dalhart, Texas, his sister, Amanda Lucas and her husband, Arthur of Dalhart, and his grandmother, Grace Garrett of Raton, NM., his nephews, A.J., Judiah & Ivan Lucas and his nieces, Angelina and Evangelene Lucas all of Dalhart, Texas, and his mother, Ernestina Armijo of Fresno, CA, his brother, Adrian Armijo of Pueblo, CO., and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Robert is preceded in death by grandfather, Bill Garret, aunt Michelle Baca, uncle Jerry Wheeler and cousin Joseph Wheeler.
