Robert Tim Skalsky, 66, died Monday, March 10, 2008 in Dalhart, Texas.Services were held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 14, 2008 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Fr. Scott L. Raef, pastor - officiating.Robert Leonard Skalsky was born January 13, 1942 in Dalhart, Texas to Fernand Godfrey Skalsky and Ruth Marguerite (Cloud) Skalsky. Raised on the Family Farm near Hartley, Tim graduated from Hartley High School in 1960, then attended Texas A&M and Texas Tech . Tim was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. On September 9, 1967 he married Sue Krumwiede in Lubbock, Texas. He was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Tim spent his entire adult life running the family farm. He had a special fondness for animals and enjoyed owning all types of livestock. His survivors include his wife Sue Skalsky of Hartley, TX his sons: Scott and is wife Anne Skalsky, Todd and his wife Brenda Skalsky, Adam and his wife Crista Skalsky all of Hartley, TX a daughter Katie Skalsky of Amarillo, TX 8 grandchildren Matthew, Bryce, Caitlyn, Kaleb, Ashley, Ellie, Jack and Olivia Skalsky He is also survived by this siblings Dorothy Rosenbach of Pampa, TX JoAnn Baker of Groom, TX Mary Ritchey of Wichita, KS Shirley Hailey of Dallas, TX Benny Skalsky of Lubbock, TX Linda Culmer of Devils Lake, ND Irene Ellis of Tennessee - Mike Skalsky of Austin, TX and his Aunt Erma Skalsky of Dalhart, TX Preceded in death by his parents and a daughter in law Jamie Evans Skalsky
