Robert Lewis Lamberger, 87,died Tuesday, November 7th, 2006 in Dalhart, Texas A Prayer Vigil was held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday November 8th, 2006 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Dalhart with Deacon Ron Hein.Mass was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 9th, 2006 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Dalhart, Texas. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home.Officiating was Father Scott Raef, Saint Anthonys Catholic Church, Dalhart, TexasSurvivors include his Church Family and many loyal friends.Robert Lewis Lamberger was born on June 10th, 1919 in Dalhart, TX to Lewis & Mary (Reilman) Lamberger. In 1920 his family moved to Perico. Robert attended school in Perico and in January of 1942 he entered the U.S. Army where he served as a Sergeant of the One Hundred Twenty-fifth Antiaircraft Artillery Gun Battalion Mobile unit during WWII. Mr. Lamberger farmed and ranched in the Dalhart area his entire life. The Lamberger Ranch was sold to the Bezner Family in the late 90s after he and his sister moved into town. He was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Dalhart, TexasPreceded in death: His parents, his brother John C.
