Robert Hardin Dunkerson, 46, died Monday, January 21, 2008 in Channing, TX Services were held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 25, 2008 at Cal Farleys Boys Ranch Chapel with burial in the Boys Ranch Cemetery, Boys Ranch, TX under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TXRobert Hardin Dunkerson was born March 16, 1961 in Scott City, KS to Luther and Barbara (Garrett) Dunkerson. Robert graduated from Lubbock Christian High School in 1979 and on February 13, 1982 he married Paula Cook in Breckenridge, TX. He worked for many years in the Texas prison System. In 1998 they moved to Boys Ranch as houseparents where he touched many lives and was touched deeply by all the boys he met. His sons and his granddaughter were the light of his life. He loved being around people and loved life.
