Rob McVay, 36 died on Friday, December 23, 2005 near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Services were held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 31, 2005 at New Life Fellowship Church. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Texas. Under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TXJohn Robert Rob McVay was born on May 10, 1969 in Wichita, Kansas to Marion M. and Dorothy (Marler) McVay. He was raised in wichita and moved with his family to Colorado in 1976. Rob graduated from high school in Aurora Colorado. He received his Bachelors degree from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO. Rob loved the ocean and the beach, was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church. He loved his dog Brittney, and had an extended family in Dalhart. Survivors include Sisters Debie Richardson of Castle Rock, CO and Ronda Peifer of Aurora, CO Nieces Ashley Peifer of Aurora, Co and Christina Gurnsey of Tulsa, OK Aunt and Uncle Lois & Jim Snodgrass of Wichita, KS and Dolores & Perry Bell of Derby, Kansas - Preceded in death by his mother Dorothy McVay
