Rita Skelton, 89, died Sunday, November 28, 2010 in Dalhart, Texas Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Dalhart, Texas. Rita graduated from Dalhart High School in.On December 3, 1949 she married Bill Skelton in Santa Fe, NM. They resided in Channing several years where Rita served as the Hartley County ASCS Executive Director. They later moved to Dalhart where she was an active member of the First Baptist Church, she taught Sunday School and participated in many church and community activities.Survivors include her Sons: Jim Skelton of Huffman, TX and Jay Skelton of Houston, TX. Daughters: Bonnie Crawford of Benton, KS, Becky Crumpton of Amarillo, TX. Numerous Grandchildren including a grandson: Brad Crumpton of Amarillo, TX and a Granddaughter: Morgan Crumpton of Tuscaloosa, AL.
