Rita D. Resendez, 45, died Monday, December 19, 2011 in Dalhart, TexasServices will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Primera Iglesia Bautista Church, Dalhart, Texas. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, TXOfficiating will be Domingo Duenez, Pastor, Primera Iglesia Bautista Church, Dalhart, TX. Rita Resendez was born February 19, 1966 in Lubbock, TX to Vicente and Naomi (Dominguez) Resendez. She grew up in Dalhart and was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her Chihuahua Chiquita was her favorite pet. Rita had received certificates for Ministry and auto mechanics. Survivors include her mother Naomi Resendez of Dalhart, TX Sisters; Susie Escobar of Etter, TX and Virginia Soto of Dalhart, TX as well as her brothers: Benny, Ramon, Roberto and Jimmy Resendez all of Dalhart, TX and mania nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by her father, and a sister Esperanza Fuentes.Memorials may be made toPrimera Iglesia Bautista Church
