Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.Officiating was Jeff Ratliff, Preacher: Dalhart Church of ChristRickey Lane Thomas was born September 17, 1964 in Amarillo, TX to Frank B. Jr. and Cordelia Deedie (Stovall) Thomas. Raised in Amarillo and Channing he graduated from Channing High School in 1983. Rick went to College at WTAMU in Canyon. He was a member of the Dalhart Church of Christ and had cowboyed for Hartley Feeders and others. Rick was an accomplished artist; his favorite subject was horses and he used both charcoal and watercolor. In April of 2008 he married Shelli Smith in Channing, TX. Survivors include his wife Shelli of Hartley, TX, his parents: Frank and Deedie Thomas of Hartley, TX. 2 brothers: Danny Lee Thomas of Dalhart, TX and Frank B. Thomas III of Amarillo, TX. His mother and father in law: Barbara and Terry Mathews of Stratford, TX.
