Raised in Dimmitt and Hereford, Ray was a carpenter. On September 15, 2003 he married Jody Medford in Clayton, NM. He is survived his wife Jody, a brother Neil Smith of Clifton, TX daughters Donna Janssen of Duncan, OK, and Cindy Biddle of Arlington, TX and stepsons: Jim Brown of Dallas, TX and Wesley Brown of Dalhart, TX 5 grand children and 2 great-grandchildrenPreceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Nick.
