Raul Tello, 73, died on Tuesday, December 13th at his home in Dalhart, TXFuneral services were held at 3 pm Friday December 16, 2011 at Rita Blanca Coliseum Jose Raul Tello was born August 8, 1938 in Xillila, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Isidrio and Rosalia (Villeda) Tello. Raul came to this country under President Kennedys gift of amnesty which allowed him to fulfill his dreams. His work ethic and dedication enabled him to develop his own landscaping business. Raul had his own landscaping business which was successful for over 40 years. His generosity and caring nature was reflected in his family as well as his landscaping business. Words simply cannot describe the amount of love as a father, husband, and papi that he brought into this world.He is survived by his Daughters: Paula and Russell Bowen of Dalhart, TX, Annabelle and Chad Dalton of Temple, TX, Irma and Carlos Ruiz of Temple, TX, Rebekah Smith of Austin,TX, Rachel and Ash Daughtery of Temple, TX, Sara Tello of San Antonio, TX, and Stephanie Tello of Dalhart, TX Sons: Carl and Chevon of Dalhart, TX, Steven Tello of Dalhart, TX, Jose Manuel of Acuna, Mexico. Brother: Julio Tello of Harlington, TX21 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.Preceded in death by his parents, 1 son Raul Tello Jr, 1 sister and 3 brothers.
