Randy Thaxton, 54 died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 in Dalhart, Texas.Memorial Services were held at 9:00 AM - Saturday, May 10th, 2008 at Lincoln Street Baptist Church with Rusty Hancock, Pastor officiating. Randy Thaxton was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on January 3rd, 1954. He met his wife of 33 years in Oregon, then moved to Dalhart in September of 1975. He opened his own irrigation and mechanic business in 1984. He was well known by the community for his generosity, unselfishness, and giving heart by everyone who knew him.Survivors include his wife Sandy Thaxton of the home. Three children Aaron Thaxton Castillo, and his wife Lavonda of Monte Vista, CO., Sabrina Thaxton of Dalhart, TX , Sarina Ratliff and husband James of Dawson, Texas. 3 brothers Cecil Thaxton of Hereford, TX, Roy Thaxton of Cripple Creek, CO., and Ricky Thaxton of Dalhart, TX 3 sisters: Faye Trussell of Oregon, Kaye Vaughan of Ohio and Cecilia Miller. 6 grandchildren: Charles, Autumn, and Kimberly Stilwell, Matthew and Corbin Thaxton Castillo, and Samuel Ratliff.He is preceded in death by his parents William and Stella Thaxton, and grandson Isiah Castillo.Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the to family benefit fund at Bank of America.The family will be at 505 Cherry
