Penny Lynne Bruner, beloved mother and grandmother, took her eternal rest on October 17, 2023, in Dalhart, Texas, aged 70 years. Born on August 11, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Charles and Lillian Crabtree, she spent her early years immersed in music and dancing with a spirit of her generation. Penny lived true to her hippie roots, cherishing life's simple pleasures like playing cards.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Penny is survived by her children, James Ricky Lacy and wife Cherrise Calhoun, Jennifer Ann Rodriguez, and Tiffany Lynn Bruner and husband Craig Garcia, as well as her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
