Pearl Ellene Ingram, 95 of Dalhart, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. A Graveside Services is scheduled for noon on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00pm at Fist Christian Church with Barry Walker officiating. A visitation is scheduled from 5-8:00pm on Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Horizon Funeral Home. Pearl Ellene Shea was born October 25, 1926 to Thomas Shea and Elfa Terhume Shea in Bristow, Oklahoma. Pearl passed away peacefully in her home December 17, 2021 at the age of 95. She married Cecil E. Ingram July 13, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pearl attended schools in Tulsa, and graduated from Tulsa Central High School in May of 1943 and attended a business school. She received the award of Prominent Citizen at Horace Mann Junior High School in Tulsa for both the 1938 and 1939 school years. Pearl earned her private airplane, single engine pilots license at the age of 21. She and Cecil ran the Ingram Flying Service for 62 years. She diligently managed many aspects of that business. Anything Pearl was responsible for she handled with a flair of excellence. She was a devoted wife and mother. Their son Don Ingram resides at Coon Memorial Home. For some years Pearl organized patterning teams among many people and organizations in Dalhart for Don, who had special needs, to help him have better health. Pearl and Cecil flew Don to many places so he could enjoy life more. Pearl was a valued member of First Christian Church, Missionary Guild, and served where needed. Her generosity provided for her church many times. She was a member of the Laureate Gamma Sorority and served as president and many other offices. She also enjoyed playing and hosting bridge. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Ingram in 2016. She is survived by her son Don of Dalhart and her brother Clifford Shea and his wife Sandra of Tulsa. Pearl was blessed to have many caretakers after Cecils death. Elia Jiminez cared for her the last 6 years.
